                <text>James Stagner Watson was a 1924 graduate of the University of Arizona College of Law. Following law school, James practiced law in Carlsbad, New Mexico and was viewed in the state as an authority on water law. James died on September 27, 1959 at the age of 56. &#13;

Material was collected by Mary Gonzales,  James's granddaughter. Material in this collection was gifted to the Cracchiolo Law Library in March of 2025. </text>
